A LISTENING LIFE
Compassion dwells at the heart of a listening life. This three-part course provides ways into perspectives and practices that embrace this ideal. Leaning on a curriculum curated and taught through nine semesters at a public university, this course introduces compassion's vital role, connects it to the power of listening, and provides the lessons that make it all possible.
ROBIN'S LAST SONG
Learn to be an active listener in this salon as we spend time with one of the most famous thrushes. American robins (Turdus migratorius) can often be seen hopping about on the ground as they forage, intent on whatever may be moving in the grass. Their attention isn't focused only on movements; they can hear their food, even the sounds of worms moving in the soil underground!
